Reiki can put you into a state of relaxation, your Rest and Digest mode.
When you move out of that high-alert state and into your relaxed state, you may notice:
Your Muscles Start to Ease Off: The physical tension in areas like your back, neck, or legs starts to let go.
A Sense of Safety: Stress keeps your body prepared for a fight. During Reiki, your system starts to feel safe enough to ket go of that.
Healing Begins: Once the stress response is turned off, your body stops wasting energy on being ready for anything and can redirect that energy toward repairing itself.
It is helpful to bring that practice back into your daily life. When at home take a moment to clear your mind and scan your body, notice where you are holding tension and consciously allow those muscles to relax. By noticing these patterns, you can begin to release stress before it builds up.
