In a world that feels increasingly loud, it’s easy for our own thoughts to get drowned out by outside noise. Whether it’s the pressure of expectations or other people’s opinions influencing your own, that mental clutter can leave you feeling stuck and anxious.
Reiki offers a way to turn that volume down. During a session you may find that your racing thoughts begin move to the side. This creates space for your own voice to be heard.
As your body enters its Rest and Digest state, this is when you will be able to think the clearest.
In this relaxed state, any thoughts that do come up tend to be more positive and focused. Instead of seeing blocks you may start to see possibilities and ways around them. Because you aren’t reacting from a place of fear, you can observe your challenges with a sense of detachment. It’s the perfect time to face the things you have been worried about and not had the confidence to deal with.
The transition back into day-to-day life can be quick after your Reiki session.. To make sure those insights stay with you, I always recommend:
Journaling after your session: Write down the thoughts as soon as you can as it’s easy to get swept back into the busyness of life and forget what you had just had clarity around.
Trusting your intuition: You can trust that the decisions and thoughts you had during your Reiki session are for your good.
Moving at your own pace: You don’t need to act immediately. Simply having the clarity helps build the confidence to take action when the time feels right.
By implementing the ideas that come from this clear, calm state, you’ll find that the situations you once struggled with become easier to navigate.
